What is Abstract Art?
Abstract art has several characteristics. 1. distortion of reality 2. a personal visual language of color, texture, form, line and shape that lends a particular meaning to the artist 3. A visual language that does not necessarily bring to mind a specific person, place or thing. 4. a stress on the emotion that is being represented in the artwork.
